HABITATION

Micro and macro ecosystems of the Eastern Shore barrier islands interact with NASA’s rocket launch port.

16 minutes (2025)

Habitation is an immersion into the terrestrial, aquatic, and aerial ecosystems of the Eastern Shore barrier islands and NASA Wallops Flight Facility. This film explores the intersectionality of landscape, machines, humans, and non-humans. Habitation takes a poetic journey into the habitats of seagulls, crabs, insects, seaweed, and horses surrounding a rocket launch port. As the night encroaches, a rocket catapults into the sky.
